Dual Camera Quick Start
Get both LVPro 2 cameras connected and recording in minutes. First, pick a connection mode — then follow the steps below.
Host
Camera 1 hosts its own WiFi; your iPad and Camera 2 join it. Nothing else needed — the simplest way to start.
Join
Both cameras join your WiFi router. Higher throughput and greater reliability — best for a permanent studio.
Hotspot
Your phone's hotspot takes the place of a router on the range — router-grade performance in your pocket.
Connect the cameras
These steps show Join and Hotspot modes (joining an existing network). In Host Mode, skip to step 3 — your iPad joins Camera 1's own WiFi instead.
Open the Camera Menu
Tap the camera icon in the main toolbar to open the Camera menu — every connection step below happens here.
Connect iPad to WiFi
Connect your iPad to the WiFi network you'll use for recording — your router, or your phone's hotspot.
Verify Network Password
Open the Camera menu and check the Location section. If it shows "Missing Password", tap to enter and save your WiFi password.
Connect Main Camera
Power on your first camera. Tap Rescan in the "Available Cameras" section. When the camera appears, tap Join to connect it to your WiFi.
Verify Video Stream
Once the IP address is set, video should appear. If the camera shows "Connecting" but video doesn't appear, close the app and reopen it. That should allow the camera to connect.
Connect Second Camera
Power on your second camera. Tap Rescan again, then tap Join to connect it to the same network. Both cameras are now ready.
Camera Utility
Tap a connected camera in the Camera menu to open its utility panel — per-camera maintenance lives here.
Firmware
Shows the camera's firmware version and build date, and installs updates bundled with the app. The current camera firmware is 0.0.5.2 — keep both cameras on it, as some features require up-to-date firmware.
WiFi Channel
View the current channel and change it (Ch 1–11 or Auto). If video stutters on a crowded range, moving to a quieter channel usually clears it up.
Switch to Host Mode
Resets the camera to host its own WiFi network — the way back to the self-contained setup from Router or Hotspot mode.
Reboot · Reset · Format SD
Reboot restarts the camera remotely. Reset returns it to factory network settings. Format SD Card wipes the card — use it if recordings start failing.
