The Drawing Menu
Open drawing from the Playback Bar (or the pen button in live view) and this menu appears. Top to bottom:
How to Draw
Pick a tool, then use whichever method fits the moment — both work for lines, rectangles, and circles.
One finger: press, drag, release
Press where the shape starts, drag to where it ends, and let go. While a straight line is live, an angle readout shows its exact degrees — handy for spine and shaft angles.
Two fingers: land both ends at once
For lines, rectangles, and circles, place two fingers where the two ends (or opposite corners) go. The shape draws between your fingertips and follows them live until you lift — the fastest way to lay a precise line. (Freehand is one-finger only.)
Move a drawing: long-press and drag
Press and hold on any drawing for about half a second to grab it, then drag it into place. Color, tool, and width stay as drawn.
Undo and clear
Undo removes the most recent drawing, one at a time. The trash button clears everything — and the cleared state saves with the video, so wiped lines don't come back on replay.
Drawing on Video
The coach's pen. Draw over live video or any recorded swing — lines stay on screen while you practice and are saved with the video.
Straight Line
Shaft lines, swing plane, spine angle — the workhorse tool.
Rectangle
Frame a zone: head box, hip box, or the impact area.
Circle
Mark a position to hold — head, knee, or ball position.
Freehand
Sketch anything the shapes can't say.
How Drawings Behave
They stay put
Drawings stay on screen between swings and are saved into every recording — they travel with the video when you move or rename it in My Practice.
Adjustable
Drag to reposition or resize any drawing. Pick your color (red by default) and line width before you draw. Erasing sticks too — cleared lines stay gone on saved clips.
Your Templates
A template is a saved set of drawings you can apply to any session with one tap — set up your lines once, reuse them every practice.
Save
Draw your setup, tap Save Template, and name it. A preview thumbnail is generated automatically. Saving over an existing name asks before overwriting.
Load, rename, delete
Load Template lists your saved sets with previews. Rename or delete from the ⋯ menu on each template.
AI Templates
Swing AI can place and size key line templates for you — no manual drawing needed.
